Kara Tran, Editor-In-Chief
Kara Tran is a senior and is one of the Editor-in-Chiefs of the Dublin Shield. She has been writing for the Shield for four years now, and previously was Student Life Editor and Layout Staffer. She developed her interest in journalism through her love for literature and reading. In her free time she enjoys painting, knitting (somewhat short and poorly made) scarves for her friends, and listening to sad songs while writing short stories she'll probably never finish. She is also a member of the Biomedical Academy, and loves to combine her interests in medicine and writing throughout her articles. She is excited for college, and aspires towards a career in the medical field in the future.
