Hey everyone, my name is Jasmine Virk and I am a senior at Dublin High School. My favorite part of being a staff member on The Dublin Shield is watching the entire campus pick up the latest issue of the paper and excitedly read it. Dublin High allows students to foster their talents and do what they love by providing a wide array of activities. My favorite extracurricular activities at Dublin High are drama and, of course, the school newspaper. In my opinion, the best places in Dublin are the parks, especially Emerald Glen. One thing that I love to do in my free time is watch The Daily Show with Jon Stewart and The Colbert Report. You know, for journalistic purposes.
