Pia Maurice Dihayco, News Editor

Pia is currently a senior at Dublin High and has been a proud member of the Shield since her Freshman year. She first ignited her passion for writing after reading countless cheesy Wattpad stories in elementary school and has channeled it into a love for journalism over the years. Besides writing, Pia enjoys curating overly-specific Spotify playlists, writing songs to perform in front of her guinea pigs (and occasionally friends), and working with children. She aspires to become a pediatrician someday and hand out many lollipops to patients. After high school, she plans to continue journalism despite pursuing a pre-med track.
