Supernatural, now in its eighth season, made it’s first appearance on September 13, 2005. It currently airs every Wednesday at 9:00 PM on the CW if you want to catch it on TV. However, seasons one through seven are also available on Netflix and recent episodes from season eight can either  be seen for free on the show’s site or on Hulu, or reruns can be caught often on the CW.

  “Supernatural is about two brothers who try to save the world from demons and other supernatural things. The plot goes through many changes. Sometimes they are fighting low-life demons, other times they are helping angels defeating the devil himself,” said Senior Andrew Cancio about the show.

  The main actors, Jared Padalecki, who plays Sam Winchester, and Jensen Ackles, who plays Dean Winchester, have already signed on to doing seasons nine and ten, so we know the show will be around for a few more years.

Sam and Dean have been raised to hunt the supernatural ever since their mother was killed by a demon when they were young children.

  It has a great storyline that will keep you coming back for more with the cliffhangers at the end of every episode.

  Supernatural has been very successful and has gotten many positive ratings.

  “It’s great,” said Senior Matt Poplear about the series.

  “I would recommend others to watch this TV show because it is riveting, always keeps you guessing, and great to try to wrap your mind around. I would not recommend it for the faint of heart,” said Cancio.

  Senior Andrew Schullerts tells us,“The story is heartfelt, filled with action, and constantly drives its plot hooks into you, pulling you back into the story.”

   So if you haven’t already given this awesome series a chance, you should get on Netflix and watch it.
