Irene is a current junior at DHS and a first-year writer for the Shield! She has always considered writing to be a great form of self-expression, and what better way than to express herself than journalism? You can find her drawing, acting, volunteering, reluctantly practicing piano/ukulele, or listening to old 2010s songs out of sheer nostalgia. Irene is interested in majoring in the field of law; a career path where critical writing skills are essential…that of which she could definitely work on improving, hence, here she is!
