Girls’ Silent Night
The Girls Varsity Basketball Team won 59-52 against Livermore on Friday. Our Lady Gaels are currently having a great season and are third in the league. They deserve recognition and appreciation for all their hard work throughout the season. Silent Night was a success, the bleachers were full of students cheering on and supporting our basketball team. The tradition of Silent Night, where the crowd remains silent until the tenth point is scored, began last year and has received attention from neighboring schools and great participation at our own. This year, Girls Silent Night followed Boys Silent Night, and both events experienced great turnout and spirit. Students also had the opportunity to win prizes ranging from free Chipotle burritos to free Prom or Ball tickets. Silent Night is a revered tradition that both the students and the players look forward to each year.
