With finals fast approaching, Winter Break was the last chance for DHS students to relax before the grind of studying begins once again. The two weeks off was the time for everyone to perfect skills grown rusty since the end of summer vacation: sleeping in until your stomach demands food, hiding your backpack so that homework ‘is out of sight and out of mind’, and, of course, being up-to-date with all your TV shows.

But, besides sleeping in, procrastinating and relaxing, what did students do over break? Where did they go? Did they leave California? Or was the height of vacation riding Magic Mountain at Disneyland?
