Zoey Contos is a junior at Dublin High School and a staff writer for Dublin Shield. She is part of the Biomedical Academy and hopes to go into the medical field and work in emergency medicine. Zoey works as a lifeguard and a swim instructor at The Wave and plays soccer for Livermore and Dublin High. When she isn't working or playing soccer, she is either reading or writing. Her favorite book is The Song of Achilles but she's a sucker for any cheesy romance novel. She hopes that her love of writing will help improve the lives of students and spread awareness about important issues and topics.
